Exfoliators

Exfoliants help to smooth skin texture, brighten the complexion, and prevent clogged pores by promoting the removal of dead skin cells. Choose formulas adapted to your needs: AHAs (such as lactic or glycolic acid) to boost radiance and surface smoothness, BHAs (salicylic acid) to deeply cleanse pores and reduce imperfections, PHAs for a very gentle action and good tolerance for sensitive skin. Start 1–2 evenings per week on clean, dry skin, then increase as tolerated; avoid using multiple irritating active ingredients on the same evening and always follow with a soothing cream and sunscreen the next day.

Exfoliant

Exfoliants: smooth, radiant, and clearer skin

Our exfoliants cater to every need: AHAs (alpha-hydroxy acids) for radiance and texture, BHAs (beta-hydroxy acids) for pores and blemishes, PHAs for sensitive skin, and mechanical exfoliants for immediate action. Regular exfoliation evens out skin tone and refines skin texture, while promoting cell renewal and enhancing the effectiveness of your skincare routine.

  • AHAs (fruit acids): radiance, spot treatment, smooth texture. Glycolic acid and lactic acid promote renewal.
  • BHAs (salicylic acid): pore purification, blackhead removal, sebum and blemish control.
  • PHAs: gentle exfoliation for sensitive skin, hydration, and gradual tolerance.
  • Mechanical: fine micro-grains for instant action and refined skin texture.

Which acid for your skin? AHA, BHA, and adapted exfoliants

Goal Recommended type Usage tip
Radiance and dull complexion AHAs (glycolic acid, lactic acid) In the evening, 2 to 3 times a week, followed by a moisturizer and a skin barrier-strengthening product.
Pores and imperfections BHAs (salicylic acid) Local or global application for clogged pores, start slowly for tolerance.
Sensitive skin PHAs (gluconolactone, lactobionic) 1 to 2 times a week, on well-hydrated skin.
Immediate action Fine-grain mechanical exfoliant Gently massage the face without scrubbing.

Peeling routine and post-exfoliation care: how to use

  • Introduce exfoliation gradually to test your skin's tolerance.
  • In the morning, apply sunscreen, especially after using AHAs.
  • Avoid combining several strong acids on the same day to preserve the skin barrier.
  • Hydrate after each exfoliation to strengthen the skin barrier.

Chemical vs. mechanical peeling: which exfoliation for your skin type

Chemical peeling uses acids (AHAs, BHAs) to deeply remove dead cells and stimulate cell renewal. This exfoliation is gentle and adaptable. Mechanical exfoliation offers immediate action with fine grains, ideal for occasional use.

Notes and precautions: In case of discomfort, reduce frequency or opt for gentler PHAs. Avoid the eye contour and irritated or damaged skin. Gradual introduction allows for assessment of skin tolerance.
